Lindsay Lohan was spotted shopping in the Valley last weekend at Rumor boutique. She was overheard talking about her haircolor, shopping, a Milan trip and some upcoming movie deals.

 

While shopping for her Spring wardrobe, she said "I love short dresses and shorts!" and when she spotted a bag she loved, she said “I am in love with the purple handbag.” Lindsay couldn’t wait to carry it and left Rumor with the Gerad Darel bag on her shoulder. Katherine Heigl, Kristen Bell, Spencer Pratt & Heidi Montag, Rebecca Gayheart, Rumor Willis are just a few of the celebrities who shop at Rumor.

According to TMZ, J-Lo and hubby, Marc Anthony, gave birth to twins early this morning. The couple are now the proud parents of a baby girl and baby boy, 5 lbs. 7 oz, and 6 lb respectively. The twins are Jennifer's first kids and Marc Anthony's fourth and fifth. It is not yet known what the couple have named the children. More to come.

   I don't have to lie. I went to a Spice Girls concert when I was twelve, and loved every lip-synched moment. While I may not be obsessively reenacting their dance routines in my living room listening to them much anymore, I still find myself squee-ing at these killer sketches of Roberto Cavalli's performance attire for the Spice ladies. I love how Cavalli translated their signature 90s looks, such as Mel B.'s animal prints and Geri's Union Jack dress, into silhouettes that are perfectly in step with 2008. Suddenly I don't feel so ashamed to be a former Spice fan…

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake look pretty buddy-buddy in this picture...could a reunion be in the works...? Probably not--unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your p.o.v.), these two are just posing for a photo call at the Madrid premiere of Shrek III. They seem to still be on good terms though, which is essential considering they have to tour the world together to promote the movie!

Nicole Richie arrived at the Yves Saint Laurent Pool Party last week looking ready for summer in a flowing white maxi dress with a metallic jeweled bib embellishment. However, is the dress loose and flowing for a reason unrelated to fashion? Gossip blogs have been buzzing about rumors that Ms. Richie is pregnant with Joel Madden's baby and posting pics that show a less-than-flat belly. If this whopper ends up being true, a three-ring paparazzi circus is sure to ensue!

Sheryl Crow is a proud new mom. She just announced she's adopted an infant boy and named him Wyatt. Here's she is, taking part in the Revlon Run/Walk for Women. Good thing she has her running shoes on, too. Because as any mother knows, in a little over a year, she's going to need them... to run after her toddler!

In a shocker of all shockers (since Hollywood usually gets away with murder), Paris Hilton was sentenced to spend 45 days in prison in July for driving with a suspended license. The bad news? No ferrets/ kinkajus/ teacup chihuahuas allowed. The good news? Apprently Paris is already a fan of black and white stripes!

At a recent party to honor the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, guests may have been exposed to the Hepatitis A virus.  The high-profile guests included several supermodels and covergirl Beyonce who dined on food catered by Wolfgang Puck.  While the president of Wolfgang Puck Catering said that "the risk of infection is low," they are still urging anyone who ate raw food to get tested.  The menu featured many raw items such as a large variety of sushi and fresh vegetables.  I don't want to even think about what Matthew Knowles would do if Beyonce got Hepatitis - his fury would be unmatched, that's for sure.  I hope that everyone is healthy and that this is just a precaution!

Us Magazine has reported that in their quest to shoot the first all-family Bennetton advertisement, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are going to adopt another child - this time from Vietnam.  The star couple visited Vietnam over Thanksgiving and spent some time at an orphange on the edge of Ho Chi Minh City.  Jolie has previously stated that she wants a multi-cultural family and that the nationality, age and sex of the next baby will depend on what's good for Maddox and Zahara, their two previously adopted children.  It looks like they've decided on a Vietnamese boy between 3 and 4 years old.While the process has started, there is still a long way to go and the adoption agency has said that they will be granted no "special treatment."  What do you think? Is this good news for the do-gooders or is it getting to be too much?

I'm happy to report that we have moved on from the punched-in-the-face look. I'm now playing a little game I like to call "Above or Below?"
The game emerged from my utter confusion while intensely scrutinizing our beloved, carpet-walking stars and here's my conclusion: I don't think there has ever been greater incongruity between the success of a starlet's hair/makeup as compared to her fright of a dress--and vice versa--as there was last night.

Allow me to explain.

You see Penelope float onto your screen. You feel that palpable excitement that only comes  from a gorgeous girl wearing a gorgeous dress. You're loving the feathered skirt, the nude-blush hue, the perfectly fitted bodice--but what's wrong? Why don't you feel that rush?
Ah HA! She was a disaster ABOVE the neck! Penelope is a stunner, don't misunderstand, but she's a girl who needs a bang. Or at least something swept over that massive forehead and ears. See? Success below, disappointment above! It's easy! Now you try.
Oh wait. I have another.
Helen Mirren.
Perhaps you thought she looked beautiful and regal. But you would be incorrect. It was above-the-neck trickery! It's true that her hair and makeup were flawless, but below the neck it was Chico's formalwear.

Now, don't get me wrong--there were clear cut heinousities. For example, Diaz decided to wear a paper napkin. Also, Biel has now been officially de-throned of her "hottest Jessica" title with that kinky nub of a bun. And please--I can barely discuss Rachel Weisz soiling my screen with not only that horrid blood-red lip, but also those chunky, competing silver adornments. Utterly hideous.
